Camping and caravanning are gaining popularity as more Aussies decide to see where life on the road takes them. And why not? It's a brilliant way to see what our country has to offer and travel without the hefty costs involved with boarding a flight and heading somewhere international.

Of course, life on the road—whether for a weekend or several weeks—is not all fun and games. Some pretty quirky problems come with having accommodation on wheels, but luckily, there is almost always a solution.

Take, for example, the issue of what to do with your toothbrush and toothpaste when you're driving. While it may seem like the most innocuous of concerns, it turns out it's one plenty of people have. One such caravan owner brought this up in a Facebook group and asked their fellow members for a simple solution.

"Would love ideas on what you put your toothbrush and toothpaste in when travelling full time," they said. "I have ours in a normal cup holder but have to store it away every time we are travelling. Would like something nice to look at on the bench that is safe to keep there while travelling, please."

Several people replied that they too had struggled with this issue but had found a great hack in the form of an inexpensive item from Bunnings.

"We have a fusion lock attached to the wall from Bunnings," someone said, referring to the Fusion-Loc 13kg Matte Black Bathroom Tumbler.

"We do as well. Never a problem," another replied.

"Same. Easy to install and looks good," said yet another.

"Fushion-Loc cup with holder and matching hand soap pump with holder. Bunnings," was another comment.

Several other people urged the caravan owner to head to their local Bunnings (or Spotlight) to check out the Fusion Loc range - which the owner promptly did!

The tumbler currently has a perfect score on the Bunnings website with one happy shopper writing, "Great product. Very handy for caravans & other areas."

According to the website, the product is suitable for glazed tiles, glass, laminates, vinyl and all other non-porous surfaces so it is perfect for your shower, bathroom, laundry, kitchen or anywhere you need more storage and organisation.

It's not the first time Fusion-Loc has been hailed as a must-have brand for life on the open road.

Susie Gow, who regularly shares tips for travelling around Australia in a van on TikTok has previously praised the Fusion-Loc 26kg Large Bathroom Suction Shower Caddy, saying that it's a must-have, even for those who don't have a caravan, calling it "the handiest thing ever."

Susie explains that she has two of the caddies - one in her bathroom and one in the kitchen - and says that they "do not move" when they are travelling.

Fellow caravanner Kelly Hay has also shared her appreciation for the brand, showing her followers how she had used the 2 pack of the 13kg Black Matte Suction Bathroom Hooks ($24.90) in her van for hanging up hats or tea towels, citing the fact that no screws are needed for installation as one of her reasons for being a fan.

So there you go - before you scrap your plans for an epic Aussie adventure in your caravan or camper on account of having nowhere to securely keep your toothbrush, head to Bunnings instead!
