From Brad and Mimi’s ‘flirting scandal’ to Charlotte’s rumoured ‘romance’ with her builder, the contestants’ personal lives were at the forefront of this year’s season of The Block. Not only were viewers made aware of the teams’ renovation decisions, but they also became privy to some of the most intimate details in their lives.

Controversial couple Kylie and Brad found themselves at the centre of the drama this season when their marriage was put to the test, and they even announced their separation at one point during filming. While the pair seemingly dispelled breakup rumours when they arrived at the auction as a united front and walked away with $650,000, it appears there may have been an update in their relationship over the past two weeks.

Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal that Kylie’s bio on Instagram earlier this month included Brad’s handle alongside a black heart and the word ‘daddy’, however, this has since been removed. Instead, the bio simply features the names of her four children and her location in Cairns.

As anyone fluent in the language of social media would know, removing your partner’s name, initials or handle from your Instagram bio often signifies a major change in your relationship.

Brad's surprising response to Kylie's racy post

Kylie also posted a rather racy 8-second video on Instagram on Thursday night posing in lingerie alongside the hashtags ‘toxic’, ‘bored’ and ‘bring on the weekend’. While the clip could easily be interpreted as a thirst trap celebrating her rumoured single status, Brad surprisingly took to the comments to write: “No one hotter ❤️🔥😍”

The electrician and plumber also defended Kylie from trolls and clapped back at anyone who left a negative comment. After one person negatively insinuated she was joining OnlyFans, Brad responded: “What's your problem? Who are you to judge? Her profile do what she wants, not your cup of tea? Jog on.”

“Bet ur kids are proud,” someone else wrote, to which he replied, “Righto champ, bet your [sic] Jesus reborn? Must be so happy with yourself, what a waste of oxygen”.

Brad also told another follower who left a flirty comment to “settle down”, adding: “You keep looking through your screen, I’ll be here with my family.”

Interestingly, Kylie hasn’t responded or interacted with any of Brad’s comments. However, they still follow each other on Instagram and Brad’s profile picture is a throwback photo of them kissing.

Paige and Jesse's relationship update

Kylie and Brad aren’t the only Block couple whose relationship status has been questioned by fans recently, with Paige and Jesse also sparking split rumours recently.

A source close to the pair told Yahoo Lifestyle in September that Paige and Jesse, who have been together for seven years and got engaged in April 2022, had called off their wedding. The couple made the decision before the reality show began airing in August and had sent out a cancellation notice to their guests informing them of the news, which Yahoo Lifestyle obtained a copy of.

In the letter, they apologised “for any inconvenience or disappointment this news may bring” and specified that they hadn’t organised a new date for their wedding.

“A new date for our celebration is unknown at this time, but we will keep you abreast of any rescheduling in the future,” they wrote. “We are eternally grateful for your continued presence in our lives and we will keep you updated on everything that happens in between.”

While many fans assumed the wedding cancellation was a subtle way of announcing that they had broken up, they are currently enjoying a holiday together in Paris.

“Quick stop over? @jessemaguire_,” Paige wrote alongside a sweet video of themselves in the ‘City of Love’ on Wednesday.
