The Block 'villains' barely recognisable in throwback snaps: 'So cute'

His wife Kylie may be known for having bright green hair, but it turns out The Block’s Brad also used to rock some impressive locks before appearing on the renovation series. During Wednesday night’s episode, the reality show aired a series of photos of Kylie and Brad over the years looking barely recognisable.

Not only did Kylie, 37, have fiery red, dark black, and blonde balayage tresses at various times in her life, but Brad used to have icy blonde hair. The 32-year-old electrician and plumber also went through a stage where he grew out a long, dark mane, which his co-stars complimented on the show.

Kylie and Brad’s ever-changing appearances came up as they were drinking wine and sharing stories over dinner in the lunchroom with Courtney and Grant and Mimi and Kristian. Kylie shared that she had actually proposed to Brad while they were in bed one night, which received a mixed response from the other teams.

“When I got told, I believed it. I was like, ‘Yeah, I could see that coming’,” Grant remarked, to which Brad responded, “Yeah, it’s true”.

“He could not have said no, at the time,” Kylie laughed.

According to Woman’s Day, multiple sources have confirmed that Brad has moved out of their family home in Cairns, Queensland since they finished filming The Block and the parents of four are taking a break from their relationship.

“They have been going through a tough time and what their relationship status will be when the show ends is undetermined,” an insider told the publication. “They don’t feel comfortable talking about anything that goes down yet because they are dealing with the aftermath.”

Daily Mail has also reported that the couple will make an abrupt exit from the competition at the end of week 12, and it's unconfirmed if they will make an appearance at the upcoming auction.

The married couple had their biggest fight of the season last week when Kylie discovered that Brad had been using their shared phone to message their tiler and speak negatively about her.

The tradie had texted Brad saying, “Hahaha Kylie was in an absolute mood tonight”, to which he responded, “Yeah she gets mad and makes it hard”. The tiler then added, “Don’t bring it up or you’ll ruin today too”.

Kylie was furious and decided to kick him out of the car as they were about to drive to a challenge with the rest of their co-stars, although they later patched things up.
