Amidst a flurry of stories about Elon Musk allegedly fathering a 13th child, Vivian Jenna Wilson—Musk’s estranged 21-year-old daughter with ex-wife Justine—took to TikTok to reveal that she learned about the existence of her latest reported half-sibling via Reddit. If that weren’t enough, this isn’t the first time this has happened.

In the video, Wilson uses a popular TikTok sound (taken from Disney’s Phineas and Ferb) on her video, with the caption, “Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had a half sibling through Reddit, I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?”

TikTok users were quick to commiserate, with one writing, “I found out I had a brother through Facebook. It gets better girl. My dad died, I hope you get the same gift,” while someone else shared, “I found out through Facebook that I had a half sister WITH MY SAME NAME. Thanks bio dad.” One user simply commented, “Your dad needs to be spayed.”

Wilson made a similar post on Threads, clarifying that she’s actually learned about the existence of six half-siblings via the internet. Musk has had several children since divorcing Wilson’s mother in 2008: three with singer Grimes, three with former Neuralink exec Shivon Zilis, and—if the MAGA influencer’s claims are true—one with Ashley St. Clair.

Wilson followed that shocking revelation up with a joke she’s in a fairly unique position to make: “‘I don’t know how many siblings I have’ goes really hard on 2 truths and a lie though I will admit.”

In July 2024, Wilson gave her first interview, to NBC News. She described Musk as an absent father who was “cruel to her as a child for being queer and feminine.” Wilson is transgender, and Musk has previously described her as “not a girl” and figuratively “dead.” He has also claimed that he was “tricked” into authorizing gender-affirming care for her when she was 16.

In response to Musk’s claims, Wilson told NBC that her father had crossed a line, adding, “I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged. Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”

Wilson has since cultivated a sizable social media following, thanks partly to her refusal to let her dad’s harmful behavior go unaddressed. Continuing in that vein, her TikTok bio simply reads: “I promise I’m not dead.”
