The Block's Kylie quits after catching husband 'flirting' with co-star: 'Disgusted'
Kylie was devastated when she caught Brad ‘talking really inappropriately’ with Mimi.
This year’s season of The Block has featured ‘cheating scandals’ around forged signatures and over-ordered materials, but viewers were in shock during Monday night’s episode when a scandal surrounding one team’s marriage unfolded on screen.
While sitting solo in his piece-to-camera interview, House 4’s Brad solemnly admitted to flirting with House 5’s Mimi. The father-of-four, who has been married to his wife Kylie for seven years, revealed that he and Mimi were drinking together the night before their backyards were presented to the judges.
“I said some pretty inappropriate comments,” he detailed. “I was flirting with Mimi, Kylie overheard them and very understandably, she’s quite upset.”

Viewers were then shown footage of Brad and Mimi chatting and drinking on House 5’s basketball court at 9:02pm while their respective partners Kylie and Kristian had a conversation nearby.
Brad, Mimi and Kylie then shared a bottle of wine at 10:07pm after Mimi asked if they could continue hanging out before Kylie fell asleep on an air mattress around 11:47pm and the pair continued talking.
What comments did Kylie hear?
Although she remained tightlipped in her own piece-to-camera interview about the comments Brad had made, saying she heard “things that made [her] feel very unhappy”, she shared more details about the incident while on the phone with her mum.
“He’s b***hing about you to other people?” her mum asked, with Kylie replying, “Pretty much. Plus flirting, plus talking really inappropriately.
“How many f**king chances have I given him?” Kylie continued. “Time after time.”
“I just don’t know how many f**king times I have to tell him. Like, yeah I’m a b***h but Jesus Christ I would never f**king talk inappropriately or f**king try and get gratitude from someone else just to make me feel better.”
She went on to say that “the whole thing was in front of [her]” because she’d fallen asleep on the patio and woke up to hear the “inappropriate comments”. Meanwhile, Kristian was asleep at House 5 while Mimi was hanging out at House 4.
“So what sort of things were they saying?” Kylie’s mum asked, to which she responded, “Oh Brad’s like, ‘You know I’d follow your OnlyFans’.
“I actually feel disgusted, and how little I mean to him is really sad.”
What does this mean for Kylie and Brad's relationship?
Brad asserted in his piece-to-camera interview that it “wasn’t [his] intent to set out to do it”, and he simply wasn’t thinking about his actions in the moment.
“I guess I’m embarrassed and I feel sorry for other people having to live with my choices,” he said. “She's the last person I want to hurt. Her or my kids or my family. But I managed to do it anyway.”
When asked by a producer if he thought this would “go away” or “get better”, Brad replied: “No, there’s no way this is going away or getting better. It’s done.”
Towards the end of the episode, host Scott Cam revealed that producers had found Kylie’s car, microphone, Block phone and hi-vis in a Phillip Island car park and she was “nowhere to be seen”. Brad broke down in tears when he found her belongings, deducting that she had flown back to Cairns, Queensland, before finding a video message Kylie had recorded on her phone for producers.
“Alright, so I’m saying goodbye. I can’t be on national television having my marriage breaking down. I’m going home and I can’t say I’ll be returning,” she said while tearing up. “You can talk to Brad about the details, but unfortunately, I can’t do it anymore. I don’t need to always be made out to be crabby and the bad guy anymore.
“Thank you for the opportunity and I’m sorry I couldn’t stay until the end, I’m just not strong enough anymore.”
Are Kylie and Brad still together?
Brad was clearly devastated by Kylie’s exit and said in his piece-to-camera interview that he had “singlehandedly destroyed [his] family”.
Viewers will have to continue watching to see whether they can repair their relationship, however, a recent sighting appears to prove that the Queensland-based couple have since reunited. The pair posed for a photo with locals on Phillip Island almost two weeks ago, confirming that they’re still working on House 4 together and likely plan on attending the auction later this month.

This comes shortly after an insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that Kylie has heavily relied on Brad’s support in recent weeks as she deals with the fallout from her ‘edit’.
“At first Kylie was laughing at the silliness of some of her antics on the show but now she has been questioning everything about herself and, surprisingly, Brad of all people has been the one to comfort her,” they shared.
“The relationship was in tatters when they left The Block but this whole experience of watching it back and only having each other as a reference point has actually been quite healing. No one really knows what happened on Phillip Island unless you were there and while many friends thought reliving some of the painful parts of their struggles would split them further apart, it has done the opposite.”
