MKR fans point out major editing fail: 'Driving me nuts'
Eagle eyed MKR viewers were distracted by one detail in Monday's episode - and it wasn't the food.
MKR fans love to spot odd details in the cooking competition. From the mysterious way mum and son duo Caz and Fergus were able to carry "piping hot" ramekins straight to the dinner table to the fact that Janey didn't take off her rings before handling raw meat, nothing gets past viewers of the popular reality series.
On Monday night's episode of the show, it was Fussy Friends Mike and Pete's turn to cook yet again, with the dup welcoming the contestants back to their Instant Restaurant - Twisted Lemons - for some more delicious Italian food. While the pair's Gnocchi with Burnt Butter Sage entrée was a hit, their remaining two courses were, sadly, hit and miss - leaving them with a score of just 70/110.
However, it was not the food the audience was focused on, but rather a continuity error that they simply could not unsee.

During the episode, Mike's little Italian-themed bow tie kept appearing to change - with fans taking to social media to not only point out the error but offer suggestions about what might have caused the blooper.
MKR viewers spot continuity error
"You have to remember MKR is shot over a couple of days, they actually do two cooks," one person said.
"Maybe they took it off during the cook and put it on when cameras were rolling," offered another.
"Maybe it's a battery operated bow tie and twirls," someone else quipped.
"He probably twiddles with the tie and spins it around," another fan suggested.

"The interview material is shot in the studio (it’s always the same background for each couple) so I would say they tell them to wear the same outfit and he has put his tie on upside down on their restaurant night and then up the right way when in the studio," yet another wrote in explantation.
Others weighed in to say that they had also noticed the bow-tie changing and that it had distracted them.
"That bloody tie was driving me nuts last night. Kept switching lol," one fan said.

The bow-tie wasn't the only thing driving fans nuts on Monday night's episode as several fans also took to social media to share their frustration with the level of drama MKR involves these days - especially when it comes to the ongoing beef between contestants Janey and Lawrence.
After Lawrence admitted that he had referred to the pair's meal from the previous night as "arrogance on a plate" - prompting the mother and daughter duo to leave the table in anger - viewers began threatening to no longer tune into the competition series.

"If somehow they get through I’ll stop watching this show," one person said. "Be great if they told them what everyone scored and they found out Lawrence scored them the best out of the lot."
"I totally agree it’s way, way OTT & the judges should step in. It’s truly ruining the show. I for one am getting sick of MKR worst year ever," another disgruntled viewer wrote.
"I'm considering turning the show off - l hate the constant bickering," someone else said.
