I'm A Celebrity viewers fuming over 'impossible challenge': 'Cruel'
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! fans have been left shocked at Tuesday night's challenge.
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have slammed the show over an "impossible challenge", saying it's "enough to stop watching the show". The challenge was basketball, but with a twist and involved walking along a thin beam 95 metres in the air (above crocodile and hippo territory too, mind you), and trying to make a basket.
There were 12 stars for Matty J, Max Balegde and Geraldine Hickey to win during the challenge, to provide dinner for their hungry campmates. Max told hosts, Robert Irwin and Julia Morris, "I can't believe this is coming down to basketball skills. Of which I've got none!"

Matty J went first, struggled and missed the basket, confirming to his fellow competitors that it's "so hard", but after none of them made a single shot, the former Bachelor star had to go for a third time, but this time with flippers on, making it even harder. Of course, he missed, but Julia decided she'd give Geraldine a star if she could catch a ball she threw at her from a short distance, and she did.
Max told the cameras that it was "so heartbreaking" to tell the others at camp what had happened. Matty J agreed, telling the camp they were "devastated".
I'm A Celebrity fans slam the show over 'unfair' challenge
It sounds difficult, but after seeing how the celebrities struggled with the game, viewers were left convinced that it was an "impossible" challenge. Many also called for footage of whoever tested the challenge, to prove it's actually doable.
"What a cruel task this is they’re going to get nothing 😥 I mean professional basketballers miss shots and they are not even on a thin plank over looking an abyss," one Facebook user wrote.
"That was cruel, the thin plank was ridiculous," another said.
"This is the most unfair, unachievable task..obviously set up to for them to fail," a third wrote.
"OMG! Really? I would be interested in knowing how the staff who tested out this challenge went," someone else said. "Surely this was devised purely to ensure the camp went without a meal!"
"This is not entertainment," one person added. "It was a cruel and unnecessary challenge that was set to fail."
"Pathetic! Make a trial they can't possibly win," yet another said. "Puts you off wanting to even watch the show."

"This game was literally an absolute stitch up!" an Instagram user said. "I’d like to see them release the testing footage of whoever was trialing it, getting it in multiple times in both the yellow and green zone and with flippers!"
"This game is enough to stop watching the show," another said.
"Come on guys this was an utterly ridiculous and impossible challenge to do!" someone else added. "Testing, shmesting!! Even Michael Jordan couldn’t do this!"
