Masked Singer's Anastacia on awkward Mullet moment: 'Wish I didn't hear'
She's been unmasked as the winner of The Masked Singer, and now music star Anastacia is unmasking some of the NSFW secrets that went on backstage.
During a chat with Nova's Ben & Liam on Wednesday, the "I'm Outta Love" singer revealed how the contestants go about using the bathroom while wearing their extravagant costumes.
And she exposed fellow Masked Singer star Axle Whitehead aka Mullet's toilet troubles while she was at it.
"Now granted, I just found out who Mullet and Dolly [Em Rusciano] were like just two seconds ago... We're all waiting to go on and sing our song that we do together, which is a Kylie [Minongue] song, by the way, hashtag dream-of-my-life to sing Kylie in Australia," Anastacia said.
"Then all of a sudden I think his [Axle's] mic was open and I hear..." she laughed, making a groaning sound.
"Ohhh I see, his mic was on while he was in the toilet?" Liam asked.

"So I actually heard Mullet take a little 'something' in his costume and he does not know that I could hear him the whole entire time," Anastacia replied.
Filling in the blanks, it appears as though Mullet had relieved himself into some sort of receptacle to avoid having to remove his huge costume.
"He passed it back to someone and said 'I swear I didn't spill a drop, I swear.' It was the best moment and you are the first people I am telling this story to," she giggled.
As Ben and Liam laughed, Anastacia admitted that she "definitely heard something in there that I really wish I didn't hear".
