Internet Can’t Get Over Kevin Costner and His 'Unexpected' Super Bowl Bestie
Proving that just about anybody can bond over football, Kevin Costner and Pete Davidson were spotted sitting side-by-side at the Super Bowl on Sunday, deep in conversation—and fans definitely didn't see this particular celeb hang out coming.
Multiple pics and videos showed the Dances With Wolves star, 70, and the SNL alum, 31, watching the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 9, chatting animatedly throughout the game. While Costner kept his outfit neutral, wearing a white shirt and beige pants, Davidson was dressed in an Eagles shirt and cap.
Fans on X couldn't help but have a little fun with the surprise sighting, with quite a few people cracking jokes inspired by Davidson's dating history (including past relationships with Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian).
"Pete Davidson confirmed dating two time Oscar winner Kevin Costner," joked one person.

"Pete Davidson and Kevin Costner? Jesus. That guy can date anyone he wants. #SuperBowlLIX" quipped second commenter.
"Kevin Costner & Pete Davidson were not on my Super Bowl bingo card," another X user admitted, with someone else chiming to call the pair an "unlikely duo."
"What the heck are Kevin Costner and Pete Davidson discussing?" somebody wanted to know.
"Kevin Costner & Pete Davidson are the duo I didn’t expect but I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED," declared yet another fan.
Of course, Costner and Davidson were far from the only famous faces seen hanging out at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. Paul McCartney also made an appearance, seated in the same box as Paul Rudd and Adam Sandler.
Taylor Swift watched the game from Travis Kelce's suite, unsurprisingly, alongside Ice Spice and the Haim sisters—Este, Danielle, and Alana.
Elsewhere in the stadium were stars including Jon Hamm, Bradley Cooper, Serena Williams, and Jay-Z and his daughters with Beyoncé, Rumi and Blue Ivy.
