In an ideal world (for Buffalo Bills fans), singer Hailee Steinfeld would be attending the Super Bowl on Sunday, cheering on her quarterback fiancé and NFL MVP Josh Allen. Instead, she'll settle for making her Super Bowl commercial debut. (NBD!!)

"It's such a special time for [Josh and I], together and individually. There's a lot to celebrate," the 28-year-old tells Women's Health. "I'd be lying if I said it's not been on my bucket list to be in a Super Bowl commercial. This is the coolest thing ever!"

Hailee—alongside comedian Wanda Sykes—stars in Novartis' "Your Attention, Please" campaign, which will make its debut during the big game on February 9. The advertisement directs viewers to information about breast health, screenings, and breast cancer risk factors.

It's a personal mission for Hailee, who knows many people affected by breast cancer. To mitigate her own chances of getting a late-stage diagnosis, she's taken a breast cancer risk assessment and discussed her family history with her mom. "There's such a power in knowing your risk," she says.

The campaign is especially top of mind right now, since Hailee loves to focus on her health in the beginning of each year. Here's how Hailee feels her best, from her workout routine to hydration goals.

Her dad is personal trainer and demystifies her workouts.

Hailee's dad Peter is a personal trainer who's worked out with everyone from Madonna and Ozzy Osbourne to Larry David. So when Hailee sees a new trending workout online, her dad will help her break it down—or let her know that it won't give her the gains she's looking for.

"I'll be like, 'Dad, I saw this equipment or this movement or this regimen.' They're normally overly complicated, and you don't realize that when you see somebody who's just advertising the end result of that regimen," she says. "So he's able to simplify, depending on what the goals are."

And whenever Hailee has a tour or film coming up, Peter gets involved, setting the workouts and deadline. "We take sort of the lead time of whatever we're working with and we break it down as simple as possible," she says. "It varies depending on what we're after."

She hits the gym three to five days per week.

When she's at home with her parents in California, Peter trains Hailee for five days each week. When she's on the road, that's when it gets "tricky" to fit a workout in—but her dad has taught Hailee to make the most of it.

"That's another thing my dad has made so clear to me: You don't have to be in a gym to get in a good workout," she says. "Something can be done anytime with a couple of books and a chair."

Typically, Hailee opts for a full-body circuit training session to keep herself motivated. "I like the variation," she says. "If I get stuck doing the same routine every day, then I get bored very quickly, so I keep it changing and keep it evolving."

She works out for her mental health.

While Hailee doesn't exactly enjoy her sweat sessions, she always loves the endorphins they give her. "I love the feeling I get after I work out," she says. "For me, it's definitely become a priority mentally more than physically. You just happen to reap these physical benefits that are wonderful and your body thanks you for."

Because of that, Hailee doesn't put pressure on herself to hit a certain number of workouts per week—instead, "it's just a matter of how much time I have."

"If it's 15 minutes, perfect," she says. "We can do more in 15 minutes than we can just sitting on the couch."

She keeps her meals simple.

To support all of this activity, Hailee keeps it relatively easy with her diet. "I've gotten more into cooking, so understanding the preparation of your food is so important," she says. "But I love a simple protein and a little carbohydrate. A veggie, a green juice, a summer salad."

Hailee previously told Women's Health that she typically eats oatmeal for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, she'll find a protein-filled recipe she loves and stick to it for a few weeks.

Right now, Hailee's all about trying to drink more water, too. "I'm always reminding myself that that's where it all starts," she says. For snacks, she'll even grab fruits that are high in water content (think melons, like watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe).

When Hailee gets stressed, outdoor workouts are her medicine.

Hailee relies on a support network of friends, family, and her fiancé Josh to keep her calm, even during high-pressure moments. But when she needs to be alone, she goes outside.

"Movement, being outside, being in fresh air, and being in nature are the top few things that I turn to," she says.

If she can't do that (think: freezing weather in Buffalo, New York), Hailee loves to get her thoughts out through journaling. "Writing is just a really helpful thing," she says. "The thought of being able to write on a piece of paper, rip it up, and throw it in the trash—just get it out of my head and off of my heart and just get rid of it."

Can't wait to watch you on Sunday, Hailee!
