Demi Moore Puts Surrealist Spin on Halter Dress in Schiaparelli for ‘Jimmy Kimmel,’ Talks Golden Globes Acceptance Speech
Demi Moore embraced Schiaparelli’s surrealist aesthetic on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The actress stopped by to discuss the awards buzz for her latest film, “The Substance.”
Moore wore a black halter dress similar to a design from the label’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Adorned with a gilded trompe-l’oeil tie detail, the jersey frock features an asymmetrical hemline. Gold lip- and ear-shaped earrings — also by Schiaparelli — and a pair of heeled leather booties completed her look.

The “Landman” star was assisted by her longtime stylist Brad Goreski, who also counts Rashida Jones and Ashley Park of “Emily in Paris” as clients.
Hairdresser Jesus Guerrero styled Moore’s long tresses straightened, while makeup artist Rokael Lizama gave her gradient eye shadow, rosy blush and a pink lip.
Moore won her first Golden Globe for her role in Coralie Fargeat’s “The Substance.” She’s also been nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars, which take place in March.
“It doesn’t always unfold this way and so for me the most important thing is remembering not to make it mean too much, but also to remember to not make mean too little so I can just be in the joy,” Moore told host Jimmy Kimmel.
Referencing her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, Moore discussed how it felt to be relegated to a “popcorn actress,” as a producer once called her.
“What someone else does or doesn’t do is irrelevant,” she said. “How you hold it is everything. While I may have taken it as he intended it, it’s what I made it mean about me. It’s that I made it mean that somehow I wasn’t ever going to be somebody that could be acknowledged in that kind of arena, that I couldn’t win awards, that I could have these other things, but you don’t get to have that.”
