Kanye West lashed out at critics of his wife Bianca Censori’s naked appearance at the Grammy Awards in a post on X.

“You don’t know my mama b---h,” he wrote in response to unnamed critics, who apparently asked him “how would your mother feel” after the stunt.

West’s mother, Donda, died in 2007 after complications from a plastic surgery procedure.

The rapper, who now goes by Ye, was called a “vile pig” after the stunt by the former host of The View, Meghan McCain, amid widespread concern on social media for his wife.

Censori, an Australian model, reportedly wanted to “back out” from wearing the see-through dress, according to a source in the New York Post, who said the decision to go ahead “was totally him and not her.”

West has a track record of influencing his partners' fashion choices, according to an anecdote in his ex Julia Fox’s memoir, who wrote that he appointed a team to work on her wardrobe.

“I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night,” West wrote, adding, “We Tailored that invisible dress 6 times.”

West also praised Anna Wintour’s American Vogue team for “writing an article that places my wife in a strong positive light and also recognizes rightful strength.”

That may be a reference to a column by male writer Raven Smith, which argued that there was nothing wrong with wearing a slip “so sheer, so without undergarments, that it exposed her uncensored nudity beneath,” as long as she chose to do so.

Smith’s column was not universally positive about the stunt, however.

“It just feels icky to know so little about Bianca,” Smith wrote on the fashion magazine’s website, adding, “I’m not necessarily advocating for snatch on the red carpet.”

What some might also have considered icky was how West took to X to boast about the stunt, including posting multiple crops of the images of his wife under the captions, “posting just to flex at this point,” and, “We beat the video game.”

Ye also apparently realized he had gone too far when he posted a full profile image of his wife, which X’s image processing systems cropped tightly on his wife’s naked crotch.

He quickly deleted the post and reposted another version of the same image, this time with black borders to prevent the image from being cropped, along with a heart emoji.
