Yahoo Lifestyle Only Sabrina Elba could pull off a boob tube and see-through genie pants
Sabrina Elba always looks chic. Fact. Whether she's rocking a see-through mini dress that's basically just a pair of tights, wowing in a totally backless red halter dress and flashing major side boob in the process, or giving goddess vibes in a vintage Versace nude figure-hugging gown, her outfits never fail to impress. But we're pretty sure that's partly down to the fact she is often the only person who could *actually* pull off these ensembles IRL.
Nothing exemplifies this point better than Sabrina's latest look. The Canadian model, UN Goodwill Ambassador and wife of Idris Elba took to Instagram to share a post showcasing her most recent attire. As a fashion lover and street style aficionado, Sabrina regularly treats her social media followers to image carousels of her outfits. It's exactly the kind of outfit inspo we love and aim to recreate in our own wardrobes.
However, we're less convinced about her outfit this time...
Wearing a full look straight from the Maison Alaïa spring summer 2025 runway, Sabrina donned a white pleated strapless crop top and trousers co-ord. The boob tube was paired with matching high-waisted trousers that featured the same intricate pleating detail at the waist before billowing out into a voluminous parachute pants silhouette that was cuffed at the ankles. Constructed from subtly see-through fabric, Sabrina's legs could just about be glimpsed beneath the oversized shape of the genie pants (as they're commonly referred to as), helping to balance the proportions of the trousers.
Still, we're not sure we could pull off this look quite as well. White pointed-toe heels with an ankle strap and gold jewellery, including a ribbed arm cuff, completed the look.
