Hollywood movie star Scott Eastwood has shared a selfie with one of Australia’s cutest animals on Rottnest Island just days after jetting into Perth.

Eastwood arrived in WA on Monday after he was picked up by Perth billionaire Laurence Escalante in a private jet from Byron Bay with movie producer Maurice Fadida.

The son of icon Clint Eastwood visited Rottnest, about 20km off the Perth coastline, and captured a selfie with a quokka sharing the photo to his Instagram page.

“Came, saw, …. did the Quokka,” he said.

The photo received lots of praise from Eastwood’s 5.2 million followers on Instagram with his page flooded with comments about the encounter.

Rottnest quokka selfies have become synonymous with celebrity visits to Perth boosting tourist numbers in the West with it.
