The Block's Adrian Portelli undergoes drastic transformation: 'Horrifying'

The Block's billionaire buyer, Adrian Portelli, has left his followers shocked after undergoing a dramatic transformation, that some have dubbed 'scary' and 'horrifying'. Adrian, who is known for his dark hair and beard, has shaved his head and his eyebrows, leading many to say they didn't recognise him at first.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a photo of himself posing next to a Lamborghini and a private jet, as well as two others showing off the transformation with two others who also did the same thing. "I’m digging the new look," he simply wrote alongside the snaps.

While Adrian might be 'digging the new look', his followers weren't as convinced, with one user writing, "Omg 😲😱😲😱 Noooo what does your partner think?"

"What in the Uncle Fester has gone on here," another said, referencing the bald Addams Family character.

"F**k this is horrifying 🤣🤣 you look likely completely different people," a third wrote.

"Jesus! Eyebrows too," someone else said.

"Lost his billionhair status," another quipped.

"Your little one might not recognise you," one pointed out, with another agreeing, writing, "You're going to scare the crap out of your son."

"Can’t unsee it," one person added.

"If it wasn't for the tattoos, I would have never known it was you," another said.

"So bad 😂 I truly didn’t recognise you guys," someone else agreed.

Others liked the new look, with one user writing, "Brah, why does it actually look good though."

"Love it," another said.

"It's a vibe," a third wrote.

Many others said the men looked like they were about to star in a Mad Max film, or that Adrian looked like Tom Hardy's Batman character Bane.

Troy 'Candy' Williams, who also underwent the transformation shared a before and after on his Instagram, showing how dramatic the change is.

Adrian and the boys shaved their heads and eyebrows for Summernats 37, an annual car festival held in Canberra.

He also shared snaps of himself swimming with his son after returning home from the festival, proving that his little one wasn't scared of his new look.

Adrian's bizarre photoshoot with The Block 2024 cast

It comes after Adrian baffled fans when he posted a series of bizarre photos with the 2024 cast of The Block to promote his giveaway of all five houses, which he bought for a whopping $15,030,000. The billionaire entrepreneur and director of LMCT+, a promotions and giveaway platform, made history on this year’s season of the reality show with the massive purchase.

In an effort to boost promotion for the competition, Adrian reunited with Courtney and Grant, Kristian and Mimi and Maddy and Charlotte to take part in a group photo shoot at the resort. The snaps were just as raunchy as his 2023 naked photoshoot with winners Steph and Gian and saw the 2024 cast baring all.

The first photo shows Grant in just his underwear as he poses on his knees on top of House 2’s kitchen bench with Adrian holding a brush cutter behind him and Courtney looking completely shocked.

The next snap sees Grant, Adrian and Kristian, again wearing only their underwear, as they pretend to fish from Ricky and Haydn’s Bar Crusher boat. Best mates Grant and Kristian also recreated the iconic Titanic scene on the bow of the boat, with Kristian covering Grant’s nipples with his hands.

Another photo shows Kristian and Mimi going in for a kiss under the sheets in House 5’s main bedroom as Adrian watches on while holding a photo of Kristian’s face on a stick - similar to how Gian and Adrian posed shirtless in bed together as Steph watched on.

2024 winners Maddy and Charlotte joined in on the fun, albeit with more clothes on, as they jokingly placed a framed photo of The Block cast in a large waste bin.
