After A Weekend Of Kanye West's Hate-Filled Tweets, David Schwimmer Is Calling For Him To Be Banned From Social Media

Not going to mince words over here: Kanye West's Twitter feed has been a disaster all weekend.

I'm not going to share any of his posts, because they're really rough — but he's been praising Hitler, defending Puff Daddy, posting clips of hardcore pornography, talking trash on alleged rape victims, using various slurs...just really unpleasant stuff all around.

At one point, he simply tweeted, "I'm a Nazi" — and, understandably, plenty are growing tired of the barrage of antisemitic and hateful speech...

"This is so 2022," David wrote on an IG post that directly addressed current Twitter owner Elon Musk and collected some of Kanye's more offensive statements. "We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk."

"Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X," David said. "That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence. His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews."

"I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalized communities including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point."

"Silence is complicity," he concluded.

Will Elon listen? I'm gonna guess it's a hard no — but hopefully Kanye will tire himself out at some point, at least. Anyway, rough time to be online!
