The Block: Which couples are still together after the show?
EXCLUSIVE: Here’s where every couple stands after filming wrapped earlier this year.
No matter how long you’ve been with your partner, it’s been proven time and time again that reality TV has the power to either make or break your relationship. This year’s season of The Block was certainly no different, with at least one couple shown fighting in every episode of the renovation series.
Towards the end of season 20, Yahoo Lifestyle spoke with a majority of the 2024 teams about how the series impacted their relationship and what their dynamic is like post-show. Will all of the couples still be together by the time the next season airs on TV?

Kristian and Mimi
This year’s season of The Block began filming three months after Kristian and Mimi’s wedding, so the SA-based couple treated the experience like their honeymoon.
“We had a little Japan trip after our wedding because we were like, if we got on The Block then that’s our honeymoon, and if we don’t we’ll go to Europe. But we got on The Block and that was our honeymoon,” Mimi tells Yahoo Lifestyle before adding with a laugh, “Crazy people”.
The pair admit the process was definitely a “test” as they each behaved in ways they had never seen before, like Kristian forging Foreman Dan’s signature and Mimi talking behind her co-stars’ backs.
“It's a weird place,” Mimi remarks. “You’re sleep-deprived, I’m driving bloody hours, Kristian’s being asked questions in all different directions, and you learn a lot about each other. And then you're trying to work on your relationship whilst you're doing this crazy renovation show with cameras in your face.
“So everyone has arguments, like all the other houses as well, but I found that when we finished the show we were like, ‘Oh my god, I'm so proud of us’. Like, how did we do that? We finished a room every week, we finished a house in three months, and we came out of it stronger - but we needed to come out of it to have perspective. Because when you’re in it, you’re not in the real world.”
Courtney and Grant
Courtney and Grant, who had been married three years before going on The Block, agree that the reality show strengthened their marriage.
“We actually said right at the end that we have definitely become stronger in terms of our relationship,” she tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “The Block is a very hard experience to go through and it's very emotional and it could really make or break you, and it definitely made us.
“We’re very lucky to be in this situation and I'm so glad it worked out okay. You're in such a high-pressure environment. It is definitely tough, but I think we were built for it, to be honest.”
Jesse and Paige
Shortly after they made the emotional decision to leave the competition, Paige and Jesse confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle that they were still together.
“We actually walked away quite closer. That’s what’s insane, we walked away from The Block closer,” Jesse said. “Not one bit did we ever question our relationship. For me, I just questioned parts of myself and how I can be a better person in general.”
Yahoo Lifestyle revealed in September that the WA-based pair had called off their wedding, however, they decided to secretly tie the knot in Paris last month.
“Eloping felt like the most authentic way to celebrate our love and this commitment we were both ready to make to one another. A way to focus on what truly matters,” Paige told us.
“Paris holds a special place in our relationship - it’s a city we like to visit often, it’s a city that is intimate, timeless and romantic, and it made for the ideal setting to begin this chapter in such a special way. And it’s not too bad having a reason to head back for every anniversary.”
Kylie and Brad
It was reported throughout this year's season of The Block that Kylie and Brad had taken a break from their relationship after filming wrapped and the electrician and plumber had moved out of their family home in Cairns, Queensland.
“They have been going through a tough time and what their relationship status will be when the show ends is undetermined,” an insider told Woman’s Day. “They don’t feel comfortable talking about anything that goes down yet because they are dealing with the aftermath.”

The couple then surprised viewers when they showed up at the auction as a united front, walking away with a whopping $650,000.
Although they haven't shared any content on their joint account since September, Kylie recently posted a video on her personal profile of herself and Brad enjoying time with their family in their backyard. Brad has also left flirty comments on her recent posts and defended her from trolls, confirming that they are definitely still together.
