Following his massive $15 million purchase on The Block 2024, Aussie billionaire Adrian Portelli is splashing more cash around, this time to help those in need. The entrepreneur, who bought all five of the Block properties in the jaw-dropping finale, is now on a mission to help people ahead of the holidays by giving away $150,000 worth of grocery vouchers in Sydney.

Portelli kicked off the generous stunt at Coles in Penrith and will follow up with another appearance in Fairfield West today. People lined up for the giveaway from as early as 4 am, with the LMCT+ owner calling the huge crowds "incredible."

The father-of-one was greeted by his fans in Penrith, who chanted his name as he walked through the Nepean Village on Reserve Street.

"We don't contact the media, we just come out here," he told Nine News. "We've been doing this for a long time. We've done it in multiple states, so it's the least we can do if we can get out there and share."

Taking to his Instagram stories, Portelli also shared footage of himself making a "pit-stop" in Penrith, explaining that he had purchased two acres of land in the area and was building a hospital.

"We're building a hospital for high physical needs patients," he said in the clip. "It's going to be a really fun project and, apparently, there is a shortage in this area for those in need."

Adrian made history on the 2024 season of The Block when he bought all five properties either directly or through his buyer’s agent. He splashed out $15,030,000 on the entire resort, with Maddy and Charlotte winning the season after their house sold for $3.5 million.

Following the extraordinary reveal that he had purchased each of the team’s homes - a first for The Block - Adrian made the surprising announcement that he wouldn’t be returning next season.

“That was my last appearance on The Block and I thought I’d go out with a bang,” he said. “Thanks for having me, it’s been fun.”

Fans were quite surprised by the news, with many taking to social media to question what next year’s season will look like without him.

“I do wonder where The Block goes without @adrian_portelli propping up the auctions. It would’ve been crickets without him,” one person commented, while another added, “Don’t think we’ll see as huge sales now that Adrian is bowing out”.

Adrian could be set to host his own TV show in the future, with a television executive revealing to New Idea that “phones are ringing off the hook” for the billionaire after his massive Block move.

“Adrian has managed to do what so many TV shows and talent have failed to do recently and that is captivate audiences,” they said. “He could easily produce and host a renovation-type show of his very own.”

The insider added that Adrian could host something similar to Chris Brown’s renovation series Dream Home on Channel Seven, or have a show based around his LMCT+ giveaway platform where he helps everyday Australians.
