The Block stars 'nervous' as Kylie teases 'revenge' tell all: 'Unpredictable'

Not only did The Block’s Kylie Baker take a savage swipe at her co-stars in a recent Instagram post, but she also teased a future tell-all interview. The controversial reality star shared a photo of herself last week alongside the cryptic hashtags ‘revenge’, ‘tell all soon’, and ‘see you soon b***hes’, which has reportedly left her former competitors feeling “nervous”.

“The longer Kylie waits to spill the beans on what really went down on The Block, the more the other participants worry about what story she will put out there,” an insider tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “There is a lot that viewers don't know about what happened behind the scenes and the majority of the cast had hoped that those secrets would be left on Phillip Island.”

One of Kylie’s season 20 co-stars tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the cast is particularly worried about what Kylie will say because “she isn’t the best at retelling things accurately”.

“There are a lot of us that worry her version will be quite different to the rest of the participants,” they admit. “Kylie is dangling all of our secrets in a way that has everyone on their toes.”

What would Kylie share in her tell-all?

Kylie and her husband Brad walked away from this year’s season of The Block winning $650,000 at the auction which put them in fifth place - despite being more money than most winners have received on the reality show.

Our source says that Channel Nine hoped the couple would walk away content with their cash, however, everyone is now anxiously waiting for Kylie to “drop her version of what went down”.

“The rumours that some houses were treated differently by producers in order to coordinate the outcomes is most likely what Kylie will address in a tell-all,” they share. “But Kylie is unpredictable at the best of times and considering the cast is worried, maybe we will finally hear what went down with some of the content cut from the final edit.”

The Block's 'secret' prize money rule

The main reason why The Block’s secrets are often never revealed is because of how the prize money is distributed.

A former contestant told Yahoo Lifestyle following this year’s auction that while the money won at the auction isn’t taxed, the teams don’t receive the full amount for 12 months.

“It’s spread over that period so you don’t talk bad on the show and if so, you don’t get your money,” they said.

However, our insider tells us that if anyone is going to ignore this rule and share their side of the story, “it would be Kylie”.
