The Block 2024 star unveils major transformation after auction: 'Suits you'
Mimi Belperio has debuted a surprising new look on social media.
Less than a week after this year’s season of The Block came to an end, Mimi Belperio has undergone a major transformation. The 28-year-old aspiring actress, who competed on the reality show alongside her husband Kristian, took to social media to unveil a brand new look.
Mimi shared an Instagram video of herself at the hairdressers getting bangs alongside the caption: “‘Hair holds negative energy’.” She also posted a transition video on TikTok showcasing the before and after results.

Both posts quickly racked up plenty of supportive comments from her followers, including her co-stars Maddy Harry and Courtney Freeman who said she looks “gorge”.
“I love it,” 2023 winners Steph and Gian wrote, to which Mimi replied, “You inspired me”.
“Ahhh I love the new hair,” another added, followed by someone else who shared, “The fringe suits you!”
“Oh the bangs are banging,” one follower remarked, with a different user writing, “Omg it looks so good!”. Others said she looked “beautiful”, “gorgeous” and “stunning”, and they were even inspired to get bangs themselves.
Mimi isn’t the contestant on this year’s season of The Block who has changed their appearance since filming the show, with Kylie Baker recently swapping her signature green hair for blonde locks.
Kristian and Mimi's relationship update
Kristian and Mimi had quite a tumultuous experience on The Block and were both called out by viewers at various parts of the season, including when Kristian forged Foreman Dan’s signature and Mimi was caught speaking negatively about her co-stars behind their backs.
During the final weeks of the competition, Mimi was also involved in a “flirting scandal” when her co-star Kylie discovered her husband Brad had been making suggestive comments to her.
Mimi tells Yahoo Lifestyle that despite the constant drama, she and Kristian walked away from the reality show with a much “stronger” relationship.
“It's a weird place,” she shares. “You’re sleep-deprived, I’m driving bloody hours, Kristian’s being asked questions in all different directions, and you learn a lot about each other. And then you're trying to work on your relationship whilst you're doing this crazy renovation show with cameras in your face.
“So everyone has arguments, like all the other houses as well, but I found that when we finished the show we were like, ‘Oh my god, I'm so proud of us’. Like, how did we do that? We finished a room every week, we finished a house in three months, and we came out of it stronger - but we needed to come out of it to have perspective. Because when you’re in it, you’re not in the real world.”
Who won The Block 2024?
House 1’s Maddy and Charlotte became the winners of The Block 2024 when their house sold for $3.5 million and they received $1,650,000, including the additional $100,000 prize money.
Coming in second were House 2’s Courtney and Grant with $1,300,050 profit, followed by House 5’s Kristian and Mimi in third place with $1,030,000 profit.

Fourth were House 3’s Haydn and Ricky who made $750,000 profit and coming in last, but still smiling, were House 4’s Kylie and Brad who made $650,000 profit. Kylie said the whole experience had been worth it in the end and she was very grateful.
“It was worth it,” she said. “Unfortunately. Because I was a different person here. But… we made it. We're very grateful.”
