Fans have said the aspiring actress deserves a role on Home and Away after her ‘performance’ in Tuesday night’s episode.

It’s the final week for the contestants to renovate their houses on The Block, but the only thing the teams are talking about is Brad and Mimi’s ‘flirting’ scandal. Kylie was left devastated when she heard her husband making “inappropriate” comments to their co-star Mimi and decided to quit the show and fly home to Cairns, Queensland.

Mimi, who assured her husband Kristian that she and Brad were “just talking”, appeared to be shocked when she learned that Kylie had left The Block. The McCafé baristas were supposedly the ones to break the news to her the following morning as word began to spread around the construction site.

“What do you mean gone? Off the island?” she asked. “She’s always threatened to leave and stuff but I’d never think she'd actually leave, especially with like, two weeks left.”

Mimi, who is a restaurant manager and aspiring actress, confirmed in her piece-to-camera interview with a producer that was the first time she had heard about Kylie’s exit. She also said she had no idea why Kylie would’ve left and theorised it had to do with her “landscaping”.

However, she was quickly exposed for lying when Courtney returned from her getaway with Grant and revealed that she had told Mimi the previous night that Kylie had left.

“I did text Mimi last night and I said, ‘Look, have you heard?’, and she’s like, ‘What the f**k?’,” Courtney shared.

“Oh, so Mimi knew?” one of the baristas asked, to which Courtney replied, “Yeah”.

Viewers weren’t too impressed with Mimi lying about her knowledge of the incident, with one person commenting on social media: “Think she could get a job on Home and Away with that acting.”

“Very disappointing Mimi would lie on camera,” another added, while a third said, “She lied on TV, I wonder what her family and friends will think”.

Meanwhile, someone else joked that McCafe’s barista Tina deserved a Logie Nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her involvement in stirring up the drama.

Elsewhere in the episode, Mimi spoke with host Scott Cam about the ‘flirting’ incident and shared her side of the story.

“So Saturday night, the three of us were all hanging out together having a few drinks. [Brad] said some things that were a little bit flirty, but I didn’t feel that it was,” she said.

“I’m honestly fine, I just want them to be okay.”

During a recent radio interview on HIT WA’s Allan & Carly, Courtney was asked whether Kylie and Mimi have spoken since the ‘flirting’ incident took place.

“Yeah, they have. They definitely have talked after,” she confirmed. “I wouldn't say they’re really, really close right now, but they've spoken. Everything's fine. So I don't know if this is going to resurface things. Who knows, but weeks ago, we were all talking.”

The furniture designer also said she is hopeful that the entire cast will reunite to film the upcoming auction, which is set to take place on November 9th.

“I'm sure they're all going to be there, hopefully,” Courtney added. “Fingers crossed, because it would be very disappointing if they weren’t.”
