Stylist and influencer Brooke Falvey has just uncovered what may be the best Target fashion find of 2024. For those itching to get their hands on an Alemais designer pant and shirt set but are put off by the designer price tag, Target is selling an incredible dupe for just $90. It’s a similar style to the linen Alemais Gisela Pant and matching Gisela Shirt, which costs $710.

That’s an eye-watering saving of $620! The budget retailer has carved out a reputation for selling good quality items at a fraction of the price, and in the current cost of living crisis, it’s a relief to have a cheaper option.

The influencer snagged the deal and boasted to her followers that the linen viscose blend is not only stylish but super comfortable as well.

“Remember when I sent everyone into a frenzy with this shirt last year that was a bit of a Zimmerman dupe from Target? Well, they’ve done it again. It’s more of an Alemais vibe,” she began.

“You can probably pick up the designer version on one of the buy, sell, swap groups, but if you are looking for something a little more wallet-friendly, these two pieces together are $90.”

The shirt has a garden tile pattern, with a yellow and green base with hints of purple and pink. It boasts short roll cuff sleeves, open chest pockets, and a back centre pleat which gives you ease of movement.

The pants come with an elastic waistband with a drawstring, so you can adjust the fit. It’s a straight hemline and a wide leg cut, with open back pockets.

“Both of them are a linen viscose blend, so the fabric is nice, it’s pretty soft and it’s got a lot of movement and it’s gonna be nice and cool if you’re wearing it somewhere warm,” Brooke added.

“It’s really easy to throw on and go, layer up [with] a bit of jewellery, bag [and a] pair of slides.”

The Instagram reel has been viewed over 67,000 times, and Target fans flooded the comment section with praise – with many saying they’d already added it to their cart.

“Love this! Such Alemais vibes! *Jumps online and grabs set*,” one person wrote.

“Love it, bought it last week. It’s going to Italy with me,” another added.

“Loving the print and how gorgeous are these colours together,” a third chimed in.

“Already ordered love! I don’t know if I’m cool enough to pull off a matching set, but I will rock them separately if I’m not! Also finally a matching detailed print that is not bloody rayon,” another remarked.

“I loved this so much I just jumped online and bought it! Hope it arrives before I head to Bali,” a shopper added.

However, there were some customers who had a different reaction to the designer dupe.

“I like the set but is it just me or do they give summer PJ vibes?” one person asked.

“You look gorgeous but I would opt for either the top or the pants but not both together (agree with others about the PJ vibe,” another added.

“Pyjamas. Why do businesses keep doing this? Such a waste of resources,” a third said.

Brooke replied to one of her followers, saying she possibly wouldn’t wear the set together unless she “amped up” her accessories. “It doesn’t need to be worn as a set. I was just showing both pieces.”

“But both pieces work as great separates,” she added. “The shirt looks nice with denim.”
