MAFS EXCLUSIVE: How Lucinda Light is set to make $250,000 in 10 days
The MAFS fan fave is about to take the world by storm.
After Yahoo Lifestyle revealed in March that Married At First Sight's Lucinda Light was tipped to make over one million dollars thanks to media deals and endorsements in the next 12 months, it appears the marriage celebrant may be reaching this milestone sooner than first estimated.
It is understood the fan favourite's upcoming speaking tour in the UK in August will generate $250,000 in ticket sales alone. Lucinda announced last week that her “An evening with Lucinda Light” show will visit eight cities across the UK in 10 days, with 4,500 total tickets on sale at £27.50 GBP ($52AUD) each.
If Lucinda sells out all shows, this will generate just under $250,000 in ticket sales and doesn't include meet and greet ticket upgrades, VIP packages or merchandise sales, which could see her make even more money.
A source tells Yahoo Lifestyle that Lucinda is currently “finalising” dates for a similar tour across Australia and New Zealand too. Announcing her UK tour last week, Lucinda wrote to Instagram: “I’m visiting the UK this summer for a series of intimate events and I want to see you! Join me for a night of Emotional Intelligence, Wellness and laughter. Meet and greet tickets available!”
Lucinda's announcement garnered over 57,000 likes, with lots of support for the MAFS favourite.
"Taking the world by storm you wonderful woman," one person commented. "Love watching your journey! You're a superstar ❤️," another person said. "Yes, darling. Shine your light✨️ so exciting! Proud of you," someone else replied.

The huge amount Lucinda Light makes as a marriage celebrant revealed
The marriage celebrant returned to her job following her stint on MAFS, and radio breakfast hosts Amanda Keller and Brendan 'Jonesy' Jones recently revealed they found out the exorbitant amount Lucinda charges to marry people off — and it's around eight times the cost of what people may expect to pay, discovering her rate was $8000.

Part of the fee also includes Lucinda MCing the reception as well as helping couples tie the knot.
Lucinda's site came with strong recommendations from the weddings Lucinda has officiated.
"Lucinda is better than a dream. Honestly, we had not considered the actual ceremony as it was my least favorite part, until we met Lucinda," one couple stated. "She had the perfect energy which was super contagious and made our friends and family both laugh and have tears - which is what we wanted, she really was perfect," another couple said.
