MAFS' Lucinda Light officially launches new career venture: 'So happy'

The breakout star has created a community 'focused on growth and well-being'.

Just as this year’s season of Married At First Sight approaches its end, fan favourite participant Lucinda Light has officially launched her new career venture.

The 43-year-old MC and wedding celebrant, who recently became the first season 11 cast member to hit over 200,000 followers on Instagram, has introduced a new service on her website this week called ‘Lucinda Light Tribe’.

The subscription-based portal is described as “a nurturing space where Lu can prioritise your emotional well-being, relationships, and communication skills often overlooked in our busy lives”.

For $27 a month, subscribers will receive access to bi-monthly Zoom calls, a monthly newsletter with her “thoughts, musings and latest creations”, news on upcoming events and retreats, giveaways and discounts on merchandise, and resource recommendations for your “healing journey”.

“Join Lucinda Light and stay connected with a community focused on growth and well-being!” the website reads.

“Lu is so happy you’re here; we’re going to have so much fun while nourishing our hearts, minds and souls. Everything that happens within this portal is confidential and with the intention to improve and be the best version of ourselves.”

A video posted on the website also shows the reality star sharing details about her upcoming line of merchandise.

“I’ve got such a wild and beautiful merch line coming from my book, my emotional intelligence course, and T-shirts and hoodies with all my wacky sayings on them,” she said. “But look, we’ll talk about that later.”

Lucinda flooded with work opportunities

This comes after a media insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that there is currently a “bidding war” between major podcast networks to sign Lucinda exclusively to host her own show, with many voiceover agencies also keen to sign her as an audiobook narrator.

There is also talk of future TV work with the Nine Network - who have dubbed her as this year's “breakout participant” - as well as offers for her to release a book in the “personal development and spiritual journey” space and an increased demand in booking her as an MC and motivational speaker at events.

“Lucinda's kind-heartedness and positive energy have resonated with viewers all around the world who see her as a breath of fresh air, compared to the clone of young, wannabe influencers we see every year becoming embroiled in drama,” the insider shared.

“With the right strategy and team, she could make millions in the next couple of years with so much demand already.”
