MAFS Eliot's bold act towards Katie after Tim rejected her

MAFS groom Eliot Donovan doesn't have too many fans after sensationally walking out on his bride Lauren Hall during their honeymoon. While they appeared to be matched well, Eliot cited some odd reasons for ending things, such as her designer luggage and her age.

However, the groom may be nicer than we thought, after appearing on the MAFS Funny podcast and slamming Tim Gromie, who rejected his bride Katie Johnson at their wedding. After opening up to the experts about her insecurities, and explaining how an ex-boyfriend had previously body-shamed her, Katie was unaware that immediately after saying 'I do', Tim confessed to producers his preference is "petite, blondes" and that he felt "no spark" or attraction to Katie.

Speaking with host Josh Fox, Eliot said of Tim, "That guy was a bit weird, to be honest, we didn’t really get along at the bucks party. He was saying how he was such a nice guy and girls were always using him. Come on dude, be f***ing honest.

"He said he had no preferences and was open minded, then everyone was having a go at me, but I wanted to give them my preferences so I didn’t have to do what he did and disappoint someone and then go back on what I said."

"[He wants] short, petite and blonde... The way that he dealt with it was just brutal. He wouldn’t even hug her, it was like she had some deadly virus. I was like dude, give that f***ing girl a hug."

When Josh asked about whether Eliot would have preferred being matched with Katie, he said, "You know what? You know what I loved about Katie? Her parents were so gorgeous, they were really down-to-earth country people that loved her."

He continued, "Now you say that [about me being matched with Katie], that’s actually something that I really love. When you have that good relationship with your parents.

"I actually reached out to her and said, 'Hope you're doing alright, you're going to have so many guys in your DMs now so you've got nothing to worry about.'"

Eliot and Lauren to rejoin the experiment with new partners

It comes after Yahoo Lifestyle revealed that Eliot's exit is not the last we'll see of the controversial groom after all, with MAFS set to air a bombshell twist where both Lauren and Eliot will return to the experiment as intruders with brand new partners.

A source tells us, "Producers felt so sorry for Lauren they instantly started trying to find her a new match, and she was under the impression that only she’d be returning as Eliot made it clear he wanted nothing to do with the show anymore.

"But after filming her second wedding and re-joining the experiment at a dinner party, she was blindsided as Eliot also walked in with a new wife."

Things are said to get explosive between the pair when they meet again face-to-face at a dinner party.

The intruder weddings were filmed at the end of August, which means the pair will re-enter the experiment in week four. Yahoo Lifestyle has previously revealed that Lauren will be matched with pro-golfer Clint Rice, while Eliot is set to be matched with actress Veronica Cloherty.
