Are MAFS' Eliot Donovan and Lauren Hall still together?

It appeared Married At First Sight's Lauren Hall and Eliot Donovan should've been a match made in heaven, with Lauren looking for a man who was a "protector", while Eliot was looking for a feminine woman that he could provide for. Lauren, who thinks she was born in the wrong era and is ready to go back to 1950s housewives days, and Eliot appears to love the idea of someone being at home serving him and his future "nuclear family". So, match made in heaven, right?

Maybe not.

Though the two appeared to hit it off, with Eliot happy with Lauren's appearance after he threatened to leave numerous times if he didn't like the look of his new wife, Lauren's sister Tamara threw a spanner in the works with her multiple temper tantrums during their wedding ceremony and reception.

Here's what we know: It was reported last year that Eliot was the first groom to flee the show, allegedly quitting days into the experiment after being "unimpressed" by Lauren and flying home to Brisbane.

We're yet to see if the pair will make it to their honeymoon or how far they get in the experiment, but can assume we'll get the answers as the show progresses this week.

Lauren re-enters experiment as intruder bride

It was also revealed last year that Lauren re-entered the experiment as an intruder alongside a brand new groom, professional golfer Clint Rice. The pair tied the knot in Sydney and attended their first dinner party together not long after, leaving the cast gobsmacked by Lauren’s return.

This comes after Yahoo Lifestyle revealed that the casting team behind the social experiment were frantically searching for a replacement groom on Instagram, which is now understood to have been for Lauren.

Clint is a 43-year-old professional golfer from Tasmania, who reportedly is recently single after after the end of a long-term relationship, with friends of the golfer describing him as "down to earth" with a reputation for being "well-spoken".
