"Prince William disagrees – and as for his own brother, as far as he is concerned there is no way back."

A royal expert has claimed that King Charles sent Prince William a secret message about his relationship with Prince Harry. Royal experts claim that Charles' olive branch to his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, is really a message to the Prince of Wales about how he should treat his younger brother.

Many royal fans were shocked when they saw Prince Andrew attending the Christmas Day service at Sandringham with the rest of the royal family. Andrew appeared with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, marking her first Christmas appearance since she last attended in 1992.

Royal experts believe Charles inviting his brother was a sign to his sons, who have famously not gotten along in recent years, after the Duke of Sussex stepped down as a senior member of the royal family in 2020 and aired the palace's dirty laundry with his tell-all interviews and his book, Spare.

Royal author Robert Jobson shared his thoughts with the Daily Mail, writing, "Perhaps the King is subliminally trying to show William forgiving one's brother and giving him a second chance is a strength, not a weakness. Prince William disagrees – and as for his own brother, as far as he is concerned there is no way back."

There was some speculation last year that Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, would be invited to Sandringham for the festive period.

It was reported that the Sussexes would be keen to return to the UK for Christmas following a "warm" phone call between the father and son. Harry was said to be "irritated" later after finding out that Andrew was included, but he wasn't.

It follows reports that Meghan has no plans to return to the UK, despite rumours that Harry is planning a trip to "prioritise mending his broken relationship with his family," according to Closer.

"Harry is very anxious to go home and see his dad, catch up with his friends for his birthday in September and also pay a visit to his aunt, Princess Anne. But that situation hasn’t changed for Meghan," an insider tells the publication.

"She’s respectful that Harry has to go back to his home for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him."

Meghan is currently working on her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and most recently released a small number of jams to friends and influencers to promote the company. She has also reportedly recently wrapped her next Netflix show, a cooking programme.

"She’s got way too much on her plate with the brand and her new cooking show, as well as looking after the kids," the insider says. "The last thing she needs is the stress of going back to the UK, where she fears she’d be heckled again in public, which she finds incredibly painful."

Meghan and Harry were famously booed when they arrived at the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
