William and Kate 'will never forgive Harry and Meghan': 'A lot of pain'
"If they’re going to make the move, I am not so sure William and Catherine would respond favourably."
A royal expert has revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will likely never forgive Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, as they've caused "a lot of pain".
Charles Rae, a former royal correspondent, shared on The Sun's Royal Exclusive that he believes Harry and Meghan will need to make the first move if reconciliation is to happen, adding, "Whether or not it would be accepted by William and Catherine, I doubt very much it would be. There’s too much water which has gone under that bridge."

Charles said Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry's autobiography, Spare, and their Netflix show will make it much more difficult for them to repair their relationship with the royal family.
"If they’re going to make the move, I am not so sure William and Catherine would respond favourably," he said, adding William has a lot more important things to focus on right now, including his wife's cancer battle and their three children.
"If Harry was that keen on making some sort of move towards William… he didn’t wish him a happy 42nd birthday," Charles added. "Any rift in any family is very, very sad. They’re doing it in the full glare of publicity and that’s obviously ten times worse than you falling out with your brother or sister.
"But Harry’s caused an awful lot of pain to various members of the royal family, his father, his brother, his sister-in-law."

When asked if anything might help get the brothers back together, Charles said, "I don’t think it’s ever going to happen, and I suspect one of the driving forces in not making it happen is Meghan herself."
He said that while he doesn't want to "blame her for everything", he doesn't believe she is helping matters.
It comes after fellow royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said there is "deep mutual distrust" between the brothers and that Harry has still not forgiven the royal family for their treatment of Meghan and he believes they are owed an apology.
