The grooming brand supporting men's mental health amid 'ongoing crisis'
Grooming for a good cause.
NRL superstar Kalyn Ponga and AFL sensation Bailey Smith are both big advocates of speaking out about mental health.
Western Bulldogs star, Bailey, has opened up about his own mental health struggles, talking candidly about how he "struggled" when he first started playing professionally, and even "broke down" after it all "became too much."
Newcastle Knights hero, Kalyn, believes focusing on mental health is essential for athletes to help them cope with the pressures of the game. "Mental health often gets sidelined, especially among guys," he said.
The pair's commitment to breaking stereotypes and advocating for male mental health awareness has encouraged them to team up with Stuff That Matters, a men's grooming brand that's trying to foster meaningful change; every product they sell helps fund young men's mental health through their charity partner, Man Cave.

"As elite athletes, Bailey and Kalyn challenge outdated hyper-masculine stereotypes that have restrained men for too long," said Stuff That Matters founder, Hunter Johnson.
"Instead, they boldly express themselves and prioritise their mental well-being and self-care. Their example is crucial for the next generation, particularly amid the ongoing crisis of male suicide and gender-based violence."
Stuff That Matters' Antiperspirant Deodorant, $9, and Body Spray, $8, both offer 72-hour odour protection and quick-dry, no-stain technology.
The products contain lion’s mane mushrooms which can reduce inflammation, anti-oxidant green coffee, and Manuka oil to repair skin damage and stimulate healthy new cell growth.
Made in Australia, they're vegan and cruelty-free.
The Stuff That Matters range is available now at Woolworths.
