Fans left devastated as Netflix shares new Emily in Paris photos: 'Needs to stop'

A lot of Netflix fans are saying the same thing about the new photos of Emily in Paris.

Netflix released new photos from the fourth season of Emily in Paris this week, but fans are all saying the same thing – where is Gabriel? Lily Collins, who stars as Emily on the show, shared seven new photos of the upcoming season, but none featured Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo.

Fans will remember that season three had quite the cliffhanger ending, and a lot happened! In the final episode, Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel were set to tie the knot, but she stopped the ceremony, announcing she couldn't marry him because he and Emily have been in love since they met.

Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), Emily's boyfriend, dumped her and encouraged her to pursue a relationship with Gabriel. As Emily finally tells Gabriel that, yes, it's true, she has always had feelings for him, he reveals that the reason he wanted to marry Camille was because she is pregnant with his baby. Not exactly what you hope to hear after declaring your love for someone, right?

So when the new images of season four were released without pictures of Gabriel, some fans were stressed.

"Come on!!!!! Where is Gabriel??? 😭😭😭," one user commented on Lily's post, which did feature Alfie twice.

"Who needs Gabriel when we have Alfie," another user responded, with a third saying, "Gabriel is a wet haddock. Emily needs to stick with Alfie."

"Please don’t p**s me off. Where is Gabriel?" yet another questioned.

"GABRIEL WHERE ARE YOU?!!!! 😩," someone else added.

"Still manifesting Gabriel and Emily endgame!!" one fan wrote.

"My theory is they don’t want to spoil it! Team Gabriel all the way!" someone else said.

Some were also annoyed that instead of showing Gabriel, she shared a photo of Emily meeting someone new, with one user writing, "Too many new faces …. We just want Gabriel."

Thankfully, in one of the posts shared on the official Emily in Paris account, Gabriel is seen in one photo, with the chef looking hard at work in the kitchen.

"Team Gabriel forever and always," one fan commented on the post.

But many others slammed the fact that Netflix is releasing the season in two parts, just like with the most recent Bridgerton season.

The first five episodes of Emily in Paris season four will be available to stream on Netflix on August 15 and next five episodes will be available just under a month later, on September 12.

"PART ONE PART TWO NONSENSE NEEDS TO STOP," one user wrote.

SHOP:

"@Netflix stop it with this Part 1 and Part 2 bulls**t… the people want the FULL release together," another agreed.

"I’m sick of the split season @netflix!" a third said, while a fourth added, "We f***ing hate split seasons."
