Colin From Accounts real-life couple reveal why they enjoy fighting

Colin From Accounts stars, creators, writers, producers and real-life couple Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer have revealed why they actually love shooting fight scenes between their characters Gordon and Ashley, with the pair saying that those scenes are the "funniest".

Season two kicks off two weeks after where season one left things, with Colin being adopted by a new family. Gordon and Ashley scheme to get him back through ways that might not be entirely legal but very funny.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Patrick and Harriet were quick to say why they enjoyed argument scenes so much.

"It's pretty good actually!" Patrick tells us, with Harriet adding, "It's kinda nice!"

"You get to let the horses out, let them run," he adds. "But it's safe, you know what I mean? It's not like, 'Is this the end of us?' It's like, 'It's not the end of us, so go for it!'"

"And you get a few takes, so if you didn't get it all out, you've still got another chance," Harriet jokes.

"We're probably writing more and more arguments as we go," Patrick says, with Harriet agreeing and saying, "Arguments are the funnest actually."

"They kind of are, because they're real, but they're fun," he continues, before Harriet interrupts and says, "But they're not real! But they've got the same engine."

"But you so rarely get to do that – to have like a well-written argument, I feel like their arguments are well-written," Patrick adds.

"Also, you so rarely get to argue with someone you'd like to argue with," Harriet says with a cheeky smile, with Patrick nodding in agreement. "Most of the people you have an argument on set - like acting – it's like, 'I don't know you, I'm sure you seem lovely, you've never done anything to annoy me!'"

She adds, referencing a scene from the new season, "But it's like, here, we're on, 'Yeah you farted and woke me up!'"

When asked if that was a real-life experience that they added to the show, the pair denied it, with Patrick smirking and saying, "It was probably her!"

Season two of Colin From Accounts premieres May 30 on BINGE.
