Big W product typo prompts hilarious responses from shoppers: 'I’m laughing so much'

An innocent post in a Facebook group dedicated to Target, Kmart, and Big W shoppers has left people in stitches of laughter after it was revealed a Big W item suffered an unfortunate typo on its packaging. One shopper shared they had bought new bed sheets, only to be given an item that no one has ever really heard of.

Taking to the Facebook group, the woman uploaded a photo of the sheets, with the caption, "What is this? I bought this sheet thinking it was a Queen, but it says Qouble! What on earth does that mean? I am utterly perplexed..."

Sure enough, on the packaging of the Openook cotton fitted sheet, the term Qouble was used to describe the size of it. Was it a mistake? Or is this just a brand new thing no one has ever heard of?

While many were curious about whether the sheet did fit any sort of bed, the comments section quickly popped off with some very funny people poking fun at the typo.

"Did you have any quoble putting it on?" one clever person asked. "I’m here for the Qomments," another quipped.

"This is quite quoblesome," another chimed in, while someone else offered a different explanation. "A Queen that identifies as a double — A non-binary sheet going against the thread of conformity," they said.

"The two printers had a romantic relationship," someone else suggested. "It’s all so, so funny. Picked my phone up at 2am and this popped up and now I can’t not read all the comments. I’m laughing so much and everyone is asleep and I can’t tell my husband," another commented.

"This has been the best post in this group to date," someone else agreed. "The comments have been very entertaining but dam I want to know if it fits!" another stated.

And the actual answer is?

One person came to the rescue, saying, "Just Googled and found this... Seems it’s a queen-size doona cover with double-sized sheets … maybe?"

However, someone else came into the comments saying, "I work at Big W and we definitely don’t sell Qouble. Take it back to service desk and exchange it just in case! As I feel like it’s probably a Double, not a Queen. Annoying that you have to, but yeah that would be the best thing to do."
