"Because if you have kids you know that once the food comes out they immediately want it and majority of the time it's STEAMING HOT soooo this mini blower is IT," she wrote in the post's description, dubbing the gadget an "unnecessary necessity."

The clip quickly garnered attention, with parents lauding the hack as a game-changer.

"Oh wow, I need this immediately for my toddler," exclaimed one viewer, echoing the sentiment of many.

"Great hack!!" chimed in another, while someone humorously suggested it could benefit eager adults too: "I actually burn my mouth every time I get my appetisers at a restaurant, I need this for me."

"This is incredible!" chimed in someone else, with another person adding that the trick is "so much better than me wildly flapping a piece of paper around yelling it's still hot!"

Just unnecessary

However, not everyone was sold on the idea, with a few critics calling it mindless "consumerism".

"This is how you teach the virtue of patience," remarked one sceptic, suggesting that waiting for food to cool naturally builds character. Another agreed with this view, pointing out that toddlers should learn to wait a few minutes.

"My immediate thought was that we continue to devolve as a species," said someone else, with another viewer simply writing, "give me a break."

However if you're wondering where does one even find a mini blower, they are available at affordable prices from online retailers like Temu and City Beach. And the knick-knack seems to have potential beyond just cooling down hot meals.

"I thought it was for crumbs on the table," someone suggested, and honestly, that might be an even better idea!
