A simple snap of Sunrise stars Edwina Bartholomew and Natalie Barr with The Morning Show host Kylie Gillies has sent fans into a spin. Edwina, 39, revealed on Tuesday that she was thrilled to have the pair back in the studio after their time off over the summer.
The trio wore colour-coordinated outfits, with Edwina in a pistachio green Decjuba suit, Nat wearing a stylish lilac top and Kylie combining a green top with purple pants. The stars were all smiles as they showed off their matching outfits on Instagram.
The three TV personalities paired their outfits with a set of unique shoes. Edwina chose a set of classic black pumps, Nat wore strappy white heels and Kylie went with an open-toed purple heel.
“Pistachio and purple for the new year. Wonderful to have Natalie Barr and Kylie Gillies back for another cracking year of Sunrise [and] The Morning Show,” Edwina gushed in the caption.
Kylie, 55, left a sweet comment on Edwina’s post, writing: “Aww. Look at us. X”.
Fellow journalist Jen McCutcheon also praised their beautiful pastel look, while Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac liked the post.
The majority of fans loved the brightly coloured looks on the TV presenters, with many commenting on Edwina's post with compliments.
“Your power colour Eddie. Love the photo of three beautiful highly professional TV presenters. Love waking up to Sunrise!” one fan gushed.
“Love you ladies and the wonderful palette of colour you have on today,” another added.
“Kylie is the queen of colour blocking and pistachio is your colour Edwina,” a third chimed in.
“Suffragette colours. Go girls! Enjoy your day,” another pointed out.
However, while most people loved Edwina’s outfit, others weren’t so sure about Kylie’s bold choice.
“Kylie’s green and purple looks revolting, sorry but I say it how it is,” a fan commented.
“Oh no, that colour combination brings back some very bad memories. Kylie please promise — never again!” a second advised.
“Kylie looks like Barney the dinosaur,” another quipped.
