The idea for the Sydney Sock Project came about in 2018 when founder Andres Herrero discovered that the most requested items in homeless shelters are socks. He decided to design some funky socks and give back to people experiencing homelessness. Then as his products started flying off shelves, he began to form partnerships with other charitable organisations.

Sydney Sock Project products arrive in a 100% biodegradable parcel, from a 100% carbon-neutral delivery courier. All socks are made from a blend of 80% combed cotton, 17% polyester and 3% spandex, so they're soft and stretchy.

10% of the proceeds of these bee socks go to Save the Bees Australia. This is a social enterprise that aims to boost awareness of the importance of bees and raises money to ensure bees in our surrounding communities are saved from extermination.
