Yahoo Lifestyle understands that Robert was paid a “minimum of $200,000 for the advert,” but the exact amount is not publicly known.

A media insider explained that Robert’s international profile, huge following, and the fact that he rarely lends his name to brands mean his fee would have been in the hundreds of thousands.

Fans loved the "iconic" ad, with one user writing, "As far as I'm concerned, the Irwins are Australia's royal family."

"Okay slay marketing team," another added.

"If Robert says chicken then chicken it is 🫡," a third quipped.

In the ad, Robert tells a crowd of 'voters', "Sure, cheese came first, but second-borns were made to perfection – sorry Bindi," referencing his older sister.
