New member joins 'Queer Eye' Fab Five
Earlier this year, Netflix announced that interior design expert Bobby Berk would be stepping away from the series and Jeremiah Brent would be moving into his place. Berk had been a part of the series since its reboot in 2018.
Brent is the founder of Jeremiah Brent Design and lifestyle brand Atrio. He previously hosted "Home Made Simple" on the Oprah Winfrey Network and "Say I Do" on Netflix. He also starred on the HGTV docuseries, "The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project" with his husband and fellow interior designer Nate Berkus.
Per an interview with Vanity Fair, Berk explained that he had not expected "Queer Eye" to return for a ninth season, as the cast's contracts expired in 2022. Berk had begun other projects and when he was contacted by the show's producers for the new season, he was unavailable.
Brent will star alongside other Fab Five members:
Jonathan van Ness (grooming)
Karamo Brown (culture and lifestyle)
Antoni Poroswki (food and wine)
Tan France (fashion)
