Nova's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie make bold move to take on Kyle and Jackie O
Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie are set to make a huge change.
As Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson focus on making it to number one in Melbourne after launching their top-rated breakfast show there last month, the pair is now facing more competition back in Sydney, too.

Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal that Nova's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie is preparing to announce a bold change to their family-friendly show to try and win over some of Kyle and Jackie O's audience.
A radio source spills that the trio is currently set to extend their show by an extra hour each morning. This means they'll soon start broadcasting from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. rather than wrapping things up at 9 a.m. on the dot as they have always done.
The change will see them rival The Kyle & Jackie O Show which has always broadcast from 6am to 10am, but often sees the pair continuing their show until up to 11:30am as they go rogue during interviews.
"Nova have been discussing this for a while but wanted to wait until Kyle and Jackie O had their eye off the ball and were focussed on Melbourne to extend," the insider claimed.

The big change comes after Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie recently received their best-ever ratings result, boasting an 8.9% share – up from 6.9% in late 2022 before Kate joined the show.
Kyle and Jackie O are still winning the radio game, with a 15.4% share in Sydney.
Yahoo Lifestyle has approached Nova Entertainment for comment.
