She was undoubtedly the breakout star on this year’s season of Married At First Sight, winning the hearts of viewers all over the world and becoming one of Australia’s most followed reality stars on social media, and now Lucinda Light has teased her much-anticipated return to TV.

The 43-year-old MC and celebrant tells Yahoo Lifestyle that in addition to wanting to write a “fabulous book” in the future, she has her sights set on appearing in a competition-style reality series.

“I really want to be on one of those dancing shows where you get to wear sequin leotards, learn how to dance, and get really fit. I think it would utterly tickle my expressive, creative side and I have no doubt I'd have a lot of fun,” she shares.

Lucinda adds that she’d also love to appear on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, following in the footsteps of fellow MAFS participants Domenica Calarco, Davina Rankin and Ryan Gallagher.

“One day, I'd love to get into that jungle and raise a huge amount for non-violent communication/boundaries and consent language programs in schools and also help combat homelessness with innovative tiny houses - a great solution,” she details. “This year, I'm off to MC a couple of great fundraisers but I'd like to make a way bigger impact on some things I feel could really do with a big push.”

Outside of her burgeoning media career, however, there’s one thing at the top of Lucinda’s vision board: finding love.

“I'd love more than anything to find my life partner - the special one I do life with, that's the thing I most desire,” she says.

Shortly after her time on MAFS came to an end on-screen, Lucinda announced that she would be embarking on a speaking tour across the UK. The tour, which sold out in minutes and generated around $250,000 in ticket sales, will be preceded by two intimate shows in Melbourne - with tickets on sale now.

“I'm so excited about my upcoming tour in the UK with two debuts to Melbourne audiences on the 4th and 12th of July,” Lucinda gushes.

“This show, ‘An Evening with Lucinda Light’, is a collection of stories from my life and MAFS stories told and untold. I'll be sharing lessons I've extracted from those times. The evenings are immersive, fun, and with a little dollop of theatrics - cause, you know me.”

Not only will the shows be fun-filled evenings of love and light, but there will also be additional activities including silent auctions and high-end second-hand clothing sales. All profits from the event will go directly to supporting Lucinda’s friend Kate, who is a single mother currently battling stage 3 cancer.

“My Melbourne debut is a fundraiser for a dear friend of mine who's at the beginning of her journey with cancer. We’ve already raised $20,000 in ticket sales and auction items are coming in thick and fast,” she details.

“We're hoping with the funds of this evening she can chip away at chemo, not worry about work and heal heal heal while being mumma to her 3 gorgeous girls. Tough journey, every bit counts.”
