The Aussie beauty brand inspired by Swifties
This clever Aussie brand tapped in to the Taylor Swift phenomenon.
Taylor Swift and her incredible publicity machine isn't just about the music; the star's series of concerts in Melbourne last weekend injected an estimated $174 million in to the local economy.
It's not only airlines, hotels and restaurants that are going into overdrive to cater to Swifties; Aussie run skincare company Hey Bud has also experienced the Taylor effect.
The skincare brand created bespoke friendship bracelets, handing them out to fans along with their new lip balms and best selling Blemish Buds, as they entered the MCG last weekend.
Since then, they've hit over a million views on some of their TikToks and fans have been clamouring to get their hands on more of their products.
Swifties couldn't get enough of the Hemp Lip Balm, $15, with the nude tint already selling out. The cute-looking balm, which also comes in natural and rose colours, is loaded with Hemp Seed Oil to deliver instant hydration and long-term repair.
It's also packed with an olive squalene and shea butter blend to help visibly plump and firm lips. With a buttery, glazed texture it's great for cracked and dry lips.

Their best-selling Blemish Buds, $17, were also a hit with the Swifties. These biodegradable acne patches absorb fluid and target surface bacteria. They're infused with Hemp Seed Oil to accelerate skin repair and fade scars, as well as Salicylic Acid and Niacinamide to visibly reduce blemishes.
Called "game-changers" by happy users, beauty buffs report they "help to reduce inflamed pimples overnight" and also "look super cute."
Swifties can currently get 20% off all Hey Bud orders over $100 with the code SWIFT_20 until 31 March 2024.
