MAFS' Harrison and Dan hit back after receiving abuse: 'We're nice guys'

MAFS stars Harrison Boon and Dan Hunjas have constantly been torn apart by viewers on social media, with the pair coming across as ‘villains’ on the show. Many slammed Dan for his treatment of Sandy Jawanda as well as questioning Harrison’s constant meddling in other people’s relationships.

While they often receive a barrage of negative comments online, the general public are starting to confront them in person. The pair were heading to Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson's mini-cast reunion on Thursday when they were verbally attacked by two MAFS fans.

Horrified onlookers watched on as one woman walked up to Harrison and Dan and screamed “you’re a c**t” in their faces.

Without missing a beat, Harrison blamed her perception of his personality on his ‘bad edit’. “We were actually the nice guys this year, it’s just how good the editing is,” he quipped.

The cast quickly walked away to avoid more conflict, as the woman continued talking about the show.

Dan was amused by the antics, saying: “Was that directed at me or Harrison? Hey, it takes one to know one. That’s the first time I’ve ever come across a Karen in the flesh.”

On the Kyle & Jackie O MAFS reunion podcast, their producer shared another confronting incident that took place inside the Royal Easter Show.

“When we were walking past the farmyard section, another lady came up to [Harrison and Dan] and shouted, ‘Oi, I’ve been told to throw some cow s**t at you’,” the producer recalled.

Dan found the exchange hilarious, dubbing the hater as a “grandma”.

Evelyn’s savage swipe at Dan: ‘Loser’

This comes after fellow bride Evelyn Ellis snubbed Dan at the reunion.

Although filming wrapped up in December, it seems as though the reality TV star knows how to hold a grudge. When she came face-to-face with Dan unexpectedly, the 26-year-old gave him a very frosty reception.

As the groom attempted to hug the Big Brother UK star, she swerved away in a brutal snub.

“Hey loser,” she said, before moving away from Dan.

“Hey, how have you been? Having fun?” he asked, attempting to smooth things over, but the season 10 bride completely ignored him.

Fellow bride Janelle Han was also seen coming face-to-face with Dan, and although she hugged him, she copied Alyssa Barmonde’s move from the reunion dinner party and grimaced during the embrace.
