MAFS' Andrea breaks silence on 'romance rumours' with Timothy

Married At First Sight’s Andrea Thompson has addressed rumours that she and her co-star Timothy Smith are now in a romantic relationship.

Yahoo Lifestyle obtained a photo of the pair running errands together on Melbourne’s Chapel Street last week, with an insider telling us they have been “spending an increasing amount of time together”.

The season 11 participants were also photographed enjoying a drink with their co-star Jono McCullough last week, which was shared by @mafsgossip on Instagram and received plenty of speculative comments from fans.

“Tim and Andrea make a nice couple,” one person wrote, while another added, “These two would’ve been a much better match”.

“Tim & Andrea always had eyes for each other. I reckon they will get together,” a third shared, followed by someone else who said, “Tim & Andrea should have been matched from the start”.

Following this, the pair had a viewing party at Andrea’s house on Monday evening to watch the reality show together.

“We’re watching Jack and Tori’s final vows, [my daughter] Indi and I, with Timmy,” Andrea said in an Instagram Story. “And he’s so into it he’s fallen asleep. He’s that bored.”

Andrea has now spoken out about the ‘couple swap’ rumours, telling New Idea that she and Timothy are simply “beautiful friends”.

“There's nothing romantic there,” she said. “I adore him, and he adores me.”

The photographer added that Timothy has been “a rock” for her at times, and “the best part of the experiment” was making so many friends.

“The people with kind hearts found each other in the experiment which has been really special,” she remarked.

What does Richard think about the rumours?

Richard Sauerman, who was 'married' to Andrea on the show, has also shared his thoughts on the speculation that she's moved on with Timothy.

"I'd be extremely surprised if this was the case. But hey, life is full of surprises," he told Yahoo Lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Timothy's ex Lucinda Light is close friends with Andrea and recently shared a gushing tribute to her on Instagram.

“Andi has been there for me since the hens night, and I adore her!” she wrote alongside a gallery of snaps together.
