MAFS' Lucinda's heartwarming tribute to co-star
Fan favourite Lucinda Light has paid tribute to her 'soul sister' Andrea Thompson.
Married At First Sight fan favourite Lucinda Light has paid tribute to her co-star Andrea Thompson after the two met filming the reality TV juggernaut.
While neither of them found love with their respective partners, Timothy Smith and Richard Sauerman, they found a mutual love for each other, establishing a strong friendship inside and outside of the experiment.
Lucinda took to Instagram recently to praise her co-star, saying when she left the experiment ahead of final vows, she changed her flight to go directly to visit Andrea instead of going back home to Byron Bay, calling Andi her 'soul sister'.
"I changed my flight to Byron Bay right after leaving the experiment and headed straight to Andi’s place on the Sunshine Coast," she captioned the images of the pair. "What an amazing time we had, talking day and night, dining, going to the beach, doing our hair, giggling, and just being silly soul sisters."
Lucinda went on to say the two established a close bond from the moment they met on the hen's night.

"Andi has been there for me since the hen's night, and I adore her! Andi~ you’re incredibly beautiful, both inside and out! You’re a quirky, kind, and a creative soul, just my type of sweetheart," she continued.
"Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful boho beach shack and embracing me with open arms, angel. You feel like home after this unique experience we shared. Love you!"
While the stars are yet to have full access to their social media back, the post came as a nice reminder of the bonds that can be forged from the show that aren't romantic.
Lucinda and TV 'husband' Timothy still share a close platonic bond after their time on the experiment, with Timothy singing Lucinda's praises in recent interviews.

"It's amazing when we go to random pubs in the middle of nowhere. How many people actually love Lu. She's just one of the most amazing people I've ever met," Timothy said to Star 104.5’s Gina and Matty. "You can't help but soften and just be a better person around Lu."
