MAFS 2025: Telling detail in wedding photos for first season 12 couple
The pair tied the knot in Sydney on Tuesday.
The wedding ceremonies for season 12 of Married At First Sight are currently underway, with one couple tying the knot in Sydney on Tuesday. Photos obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle show ‘TikTok tradie’ Dave Thomas getting married to an unnamed blonde woman, who wore a floral lace wedding gown and veil.
Dave, who is also a bodybuilder and part-time model, runs his own caulking business and has amassed almost 30,000 followers on TikTok posting videos documenting his renovations. The aspiring influencer set all of his social media accounts to private last week including the Instagram page for his business, Silicone Valley Caulking.

Interestingly, Dave and his mystery bride’s wedding location was Carriageworks in Sydney, which is where season 10 couple Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton got married.
An insider tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the producers’ decision to film at the same location bodes well for the new couple as Tahnee and Ollie were a success story in the experiment - although they split in December last year.
“Producers clearly have high hopes for this couple as they’ve put them in the same venue as one of the former success stories,” the source shares. “It’s obviously very early days in their relationship but it’s a good sign of things to come.”
Not every MAFS couple who tied the knot at Carriageworks worked out, however, with Tamara Djordjevic and Brent Vitiello also getting married at the urban cultural precinct in season nine.
The relationship got off to a rough start at the wedding and eventually came to a dramatic end at Final Vows when Brent called his bride “vindictive, spiteful and self-absorbed” before walking off.
Who else has been cast in MAFS 2025?
Only a handful of 2025 participants have been revealed so far alongside tattooed groom Dave Thomas.
Daily Mail revealed last week that Melbourne-based fitness influencer Rhi Disljenkovic and former Bachelor star Sierah Swepstone had joined the cast, as well as Perth-based fitness coach Paul Antoine who previously appeared on Channel 10’s short-lived reality show The Real Love Boat in 2022.

Daily Mail also shared on Wednesday that Italian-born wedding MC and DJ Morena Farina is set to appear on next year’s season of the reality show. The mother-of-two has been described as a “cool mum” and “one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet”, while Chattr confirmed that she is season 12’s oldest bride in her mid-40s.
