Bachelor's Jimmy Nicholson speaks out after former contestant joins MAFS 2025
EXCLUSIVE: Jimmy Nicholson reveals his honest thoughts on Sierah Swepstone joining MAFS.
The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson has finally spoken out after it was revealed that Sierah Swepstone, who was a contestant on his season of the reality show in 2021, has been cast in the upcoming twelfth season of Married At First Sight. The 31-year-old technical analyst from Victoria was spotted filming the Channel Nine series last week, according to Daily Mail, which marks the first time a Bachelor contestant has appeared as a participant on the rival dating series.
Sierah finished 11th place on Jimmy’s season and attended four group dates before being sent home in episode eight. While she may not have formed a romantic connection on the show, she had quite a memorable exit when she speculated that Jimmy simply wasn't into “tall, horny bogans” like herself.

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle following the cast leak, Jimmy admitted he’s excited to watch Sierah’s return to reality TV.
“There is more than meets the eye to Sierah,” he shared, adding that viewers didn’t get to see her whole personality on The Bachelor and there’s “much more depth” to her story.
“She’s also hilarious and will make for some great viewing. I wish her all the best with it.”
Who else has been cast in MAFS 2025?
Sierah is one of the few participants who have been revealed for the new season of MAFS alongside Melbourne-based fitness influencer Rhi Disljenkovic and Perth-based fitness coach Paul Antoine, who previously appeared on Channel 10’s short-lived reality show The Real Love Boat in 2022.
Yahoo Lifestyle also exclusively revealed on Tuesday that ‘TikTok tradie’ Dave Thomas, who is a bodybuilder and part-time model, had been spotted getting married to his mystery bride in Sydney.
