Home and Away star Sarah Roberts confirms divorce from former co-star James Stewart
A sad day for fans of the Home and Away stars.
Former Home and Away star Sarah Roberts has confirmed what fans had long suspected – that she and her former co-star James Stewart are divorced. The actress confirmed the news during an interview with Stellar magazine.
"I just want to say that I am divorced," she told the publication. "Sometimes people grow apart and that's okay... I got to a point where I realised I couldn't grow in the way I wanted to within this particular relationship."
Sarah and James wed in Ireland in 2019 after getting engaged in November 2018. Rumours began circulating that the pair had split in October 2022, when James didn't attend the premiere for Wog Boys Forever, a film that Sarah starred in.

The Daily Telegraph reported at the time that James was "nowhere to be seen on the red carpet" and was also not following Sarah on Instagram. However, Sarah's agent denied rumours of a split at the time and the pair went on to attend the 2022 AACTAs together.
It appears as though Sarah's last post with James was shared to her account in February 2023, while James' last post about Sarah was in July 2022.
Fans have been curious about the pair's relationship for some time, with one Instagram user questioning recently on one of James' posts, "Is he still with his wife Sarah I haven’t seen them post each other for a while now."
"I thought that too," another added.
"They split last year," a Home and Away fan account replied. "They do not post photos together and no longer wearing their wedding rings."

Friends and fans of Sarah took to Stellar Magazine's Instagram post about the split to share their support for the actress.
"Yes 👏🏻 Girl 👏🏻 I’m very proud of you!!! It’s so beautiful to see you sparkle again ✨ you deserve nothing but the best," Sam Frost wrote.
"Love you heaps ❤️❤️ you are incredible xxx 🔥🔥," Emily Weir added.
