Kris Jenner recalls tennis with Robert Kardashian, Erik Menendez before parents' murder
Kris Jenner knows a who's-who of the infamous in Los Angeles.
On the Thursday season premiere of Hulu's "The Kardashians," the famous family's matriarch revealed that she and ex-husband Robert Kardashian Sr. had met Erik Menendez before he and Lyle Menendez murdered their parents.
The topic came up after Kim Kardashian brought up working with Ryan Murphy and hearing about his series "Monsters" on the brothers, prompting Jenner, 69, to reveal she "knew those guys" in the 1980s.
Kourtney Kardashian Barker then clarified if she knew their parents before Jenner said she knew Erik Menendez because he "used to come over and play tennis with your dad (Robert Kardashian) on the weekends."
Robert Kardashian famously represented O.J. Simpson in the murder of Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson. The couples were friends, with Jenner and Brown Simpson remaining close from the early 1970s until Brown Simpson's murder in 1994.

Kardashian, 44, said she remembered her dad talking about the Menendez case and being aware of the murders from living in Los Angeles as a teen.
"Knowing what I know now about the system, I just have a whole different outlook on it," Kardashian said.
The Menendez brothers' case has received the spotlight again since Murphy's Netflix series, released last fall, as well as new documentaries on the 1989 murders.
Following the series and documentaries, viewers, including Kardashian, have begun questioning the brothers' original sentencing after the claims that they acted in self-defense following years of sexual abuse by their father started to resurface. The chatter prompted Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón to file a petition to resentence Erik and Lyle Menendez, opening the possibility of parole for the brothers serving life sentences.
Kardashian praised the move, saying it was "righting a significant wrong."

"Your commitment to truth and fairness is commendable," she said of Gascón, crediting "the media's focus, especially on the heels of Ryan Murphy's TV show, helped expose the abuse and injustices in their case."
The Skims founder said she believes "in the justice system's ability to evolve, and I am grateful for a society where we can challenge decisions and seek justice," telling her 360 million followers to "never stop questioning."
