Build-A-Bear Customers Can't Believe Their Eyes Over New Adult-Only Item

In the unexpected new ad, the provocatively-dressed bear can be seen dancing around to a song titled, "She's A Cougar," featuring lyrics like "Watch out boys," On the prowl," and "Too fierce to handle."

The plush bear was dressed in a cheetah-print fur coat, a leather skirt, black heeled booties and even a sequin halter top. She also appeared to be showing off some sensual moves in the clip, sprawling out on a heart-shaped pillow and striking a flirty pose while lying on one side and resting her head on her paw.

The Cuddly Cougar is only available on the adult-only section of the Build-A-Bear website titled "The Bear Cave," but that didn't stop the brand from sharing the NSFW promo video to its main Instagram page, prompting fans to have some mixed feelings over the content.

"Someone approved this?? 🤣," one Instagram user wrote, while another commenter said, "I hope this is a joke."

Although some users questioned the video's appropriateness for children, other commenters reminded them that the Cuddly Cougar is "not in store...just the ADULT portion of the online store."

Meanwhile, others thought the video was simply "iconic."

"I’m glad to live in a generation where sexy Build-A-Bears are a thing," one person wrote.

"Cougar theme song for Build a Bear was not on my 2025 bingo but I’m happy. I needed this," added another.

"I’m so glad this appeared on my feed," someone else chimed, while another user quipped, "Need this diva, y’all gotta stop w this amazing marketing 😭."

Someone else commented, "I fear the social media team ate with the launch."
