Yahoo Lifestyle Kim Kardashian Just Revealed That One Of Her Signature Hairstyles From Last Year Was Actually A Wig, And I, For One, Had No Idea
Last April, Kim Kardashian joined then-vice president Kamala Harris at the White House to discuss criminal justice reform.
If you didn’t know, Kim — who is studying to become a lawyer — has spent recent years advocating for criminal justice reform across the US.
Kim shared a bunch of photos on Instagram at the time, which you can see right here.
In the pics, Kim looks like her usual self — complete with her signature long, dark hair.
Well, in the latest episode of The Kardashians, which aired on Hulu this week, it was revealed that Kim was actually wearing a wig at the time.
The Season 6 premiere of the reality series shared tons of new footage from Kim’s White House appearance — including the moment she got her wig placed on her head before the discussion.
While getting glammed up in her hotel room, Kim was visited by lawyer Jessica Jackson. “Hi! Sorry, I can’t move,” Kim said as her hairstylist worked his magic.
When Jessica gushed about how beautiful Kim looked, the star replied, “Thank you! I have a wig on, so we’re just having a little wig sitch.”
“My hair is blonde, so I just wanted it dark today,” she candidly explained as the camera captured her platinum blonde hair underneath the dark wig.
Interestingly, Kim can be seen rocking her signature dark hair in multiple Instagram posts from around this same time, suggesting that this isn’t the only occasion that she secretly wore a wig to hide her blonde locks.
