Kmart shoppers wowed by item that will transform summer in 12 minutes: 'Best purchase'

Kmart shoppers absolutely love a $99 item that's a must-have for summer and entertaining. The 1.2L Ice Maker is the perfect addition to your kitchen this summer, especially if you're hosting any events this Christmas.

TikTok user Chloe Rudel, who goes by @chlozza16 on the app, shared her experience with the ice maker, joking, "This was probably the stupidest f**king impulse buy ever. I found it at Kmart and I needed it."

She continued, "But, the problem is, I've got nowhere to put it in my f**king kitchen! I'm going to have start putting s**t away!"

"But I really like it!" Chloe added before saying she doesn't actually know how to use it.

In a follow-up video, she said, "OK, so, it's a couple of hours later and I can say with 100 per cent certainty, I am so thankful that I purchased this."

She then proceeded to give a little tour of the ice maker, sharing that you can choose the size of the ice and that it will continue making ice until it senses that the basket is full. If you take out ice, it will continue making it to keep the basket full at all times.

"I'm so thankful that I bought this and would highly recommend anyone else to do it as well," she said.

In another video, Chloe shares that the ice maker isn't all that loud and that it makes "the nice crunchy type" of ice.

Kmart fans were quick to comment on Chloe's video, with one user agreeing with her and saying, "I can say it's my best purchase. Takes about 12 minutes to make the ice blocks."

Another fan of the product shared, "I leave it on for a few hours and put the ice cubes into multiple plastic bags in my freezer. "

"I would die without my ice maker," a third definitely not dramatic person added.

"Make sure to clean it once every 3-4 weeks, or you will end up with mould the way through it!" a fourth added, saying that you should run a full cycle with an empty machine with water and one cup of vinegar, and then also clean the metal pieces that make the ice.

"An ice maker is worth every cent," another said. "We’ve had one for 5 years and they are amazing!"
